How do I record my first workout with Grunty?
From Record, choose Voice, Write (free-form text), or Manual entry to fill the fields yourself. Photo import is also available with Premium. Check exercises, completed results and any groups before saving.
How should I dictate a workout for Grunty to understand?
Speak naturally, but make the essentials explicit: exercise name, reps, load or duration, then optional RIR, tempo or set type. For circuits, also mention duration or number of rounds.
Why are warm-up sets excluded from my working-set count?
Grunty distinguishes warmups from working sets. Recent versions exclude warmups from the main set count in the summary and history, avoiding an inflated working-set total.
How do I log an AMRAP?
Say 'AMRAP', give the time cap, movements and target per round, then state your result: full rounds plus any partial final round. Targets and completed work are stored separately.
Can I log cardio without both time and distance?
Yes. 'Rowing 250 meters' can store distance alone. If the time is unknown, do not guess; you can add that field later during review or in history.
Can I edit a workout after saving it?
Yes. Open the workout from history and use the editing controls to correct exercises and available metrics. Recent versions align review and history editing fields.
